Patan Durbar Square is the UNESCO listed World Heritage site of Nepal that has the vista of different styling Architectural Monuments, temples, idols, culture and tradition. Being the city enriched with the history,  cultural activities, tradition, and Architectural design that perpetuate the city as the tourist destination near Capital.

People still name the place as Lalitpur in Sanskrit and Yala in Newari. Being at the center of Lalitpur, Patan Durbar Square is the center of attraction that provokes domestic as well as international tourist to delve into. Patan holds the finest collection of temples, palaces, and architectures in the whole of Nepal. Patan is the suburb city of Kathmandu separated by the Murky Bagmati River.

Sundari Chowk

Just south of the Mul Chowk, you will find the renovated water tank built with 72 carved stone plaques depicting Tantric deities also, you will find the three magnificent statues of Hanuman, Ganesh, and Vishnu as Narsingha in the gateway to Sundari Chowk.

Mul Chowk

It is the central courtyard and an old chowk of Royal Palace among the three main chowks. And at the center you will find Bidyapith Temple, at the south side you will find the Taleju Bhawani Temple and at the northeastern corner, you will find the Degutalle Temple.

Krishna Mandir

It’s a Hindu Temple in Patan that is designed and a built-in local variety of Shikhara style called Granthakuta. On the occasion of Krishnastami, the temple is crowded with numbers of Hindu Pilgrims and devotees.

Golden Gate

The gateway to the Museum has golden Torana that shows Shiva, Parvati, Ganesh, and Kumar.

Royal Palace

Another sight to explore in Patan is the Royal Palace that is built in the 14th century.

Bhimsen Temple

The golden windows that are interconnected are the renowned fact about the Bhimsen Temple. Bhimsen is the brave man and in Newari culture, he is worshipped as the god of trade and business.

Vishwanath Temple

The temple built-in 1627, Vishwanath Temple is the temple of God Shiva built during the reign of Siddhi Narsingh Malla.

Taleju Bhawani Temple

Taleju Bhawani is treated as the personal deity of the Malla kings.

Also, the public Van and Buses are available to reach Patan. The cheapest means to travel is getting on to the bus that directs you to your destination.
