Short Trek Highlights to Tilicho Lake
The trek to Tilicho Lake starts right from the Bashisahar, which is around 3-4 hours of drive from Pokhara. From the second day of your trip, you can start trekking reaching Bahundanda which is at an altitude of 1300m and is 5 hours of trek. You can take rest and have some warm meal and hover around Bahundanda on this day. If you are a expert Trekker or Hiker, you can reach Chamje on this day, which usually takes 6-7 hours from Bahundanda. On the next morning you need to again start your trekking journey, on this day you can reach to the Chame which is at an altitude of 2630m, and is around 9-10 hours of trek from Chamje via Bagarchap. After reaching Chame, I am sure you will start breathing the atmosphere of Manang, which is one of the beautiful, culturally enrich destinations to explore. Manang is at an altitude of 3540m and from this point, you will start capturing the spectacular view of Himalayas, including Annapurna III, and IV. From Manang, Tilicho Base Camp is around 10 hours of hike, so you may need a full tight energetic body to cross. From the Tilicho Base Camp, you can reach to Tilicho Lake in around 6 hours of trek. Usually, the trek to Tilicho Lake is packaged for 15 days.
