Etymology:

Best Time to Visit Dolakha
It depends on what purpose you are exploring the Dolakha. If you are planning some adventurous or trekking journey in Dolakha the best time to visit Dolakha is in between February to May and August to November. This is the time when snowfall to the district started falling out. But if you are just planning to spend some holiday and wants to spend the time at the base level, any months is suitable to visit Dolakha. Though you may face some road problem such as Landslide, flood in between to April to August.
Transportation:
Dolakha is around 7-8 an hour in distance from Kathmandu via Araniko Highway. There is direct transportation available from Kathmandu to Dolakha district and it is the cheapest way to travel from Kathmandu to Dolakha. Also, there is direct flight service available from Kathmandu to Jiri. In 2019, daily 2-flights available.
